Support Contract - Upgrade Support

When you purchase WintextCom, you can optionally purchase product upgrade support. With upgrade support, you will receive e-mail deliveries of registered software upgrades when they become available, instead of just a notice that the evaluation version has been updated on the company website.

Upgrade support costs £30 for one year and must be purchased in conjunction with WintextCom or a standard upgrade. Without upgrade support, standard upgrades are charged at half the full selling price of the product at the time of upgrading, and future upgrade support may be purchased in conjunction. Once upgrade support has been purchased, it may be renewed for a subscription fee of £15/year.

Upgrade support is purchased under the following terms:

  1. The support ensures that if and when an upgrade becomes available, you automatically receive it in registered form by e-mail.  The support subscription does not put S.W.H.-Wintextware under any obligation whatsoever to provide an upgrade within any given subscription period, even if the purchaser has reason to believe that an upgrade is likely within the next year.

  2. Except where otherwise negotiated with S.W.H.-Wintextware, it is the subscriber's responsibility to install an upgrade and maintain a copy of their current version installer in case of requiring to go back to using that version. S.W.H.-Wintextware cannot undertake to provide old versions of the software, the purchaser is responsible for retaining them.

Purchase of product upgrade support constitutes your full agreement with the above terms.
